Komodo National Park
Real dragons spurt no fire, have no need
to fly and cast no magic spells. And still, one look from them might
render you speechless. These komodos, the real life dragons, are a
sight indeed. Gigantic, the lizard-like creatures are about two or
three meters in length. They can easily weigh about 165 kilograms.
Despite of their sheer size and appearance, they are not active
hunters. What makes them intimidating is the fact that they are a
patient predator. In the wild, they stalk a victim, usually a weak or
injured one. One bite and that's what it usually takes. After
following the victim for a while, sometimes up to several days' time,
the komodos will devour the dying prey.
The Komodo Dragon (Varanus komodoensis) is an endangered species which
can only be found in the Komodo National Park (KNP) in East Nusa
Tenggara (NTT). Because of the unique and rare nature of this animal,
KNP was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986.
Bali and Komodo 5 Days Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival Bali - Accommodation
Arrive at Ngurah Rai, International airport, meet and greet with our guide and transfer directly to
Kuta region for stay and overnight. Free at your own leisure time.
Day 2: Bali - Labuhan Bajo - Rinca - Kalong Island (Breakfast,
Lunch, Dinner)
Bali hotel pick up service, transfer from your Hotel in Bali to the
Airport, leaving for Labuan Bajo airport. Upon arrival in Labuhan Bajo,
Pick-up and meeting by our local staff, then transfer to the boat sail
to RINCA island, see the Komodo Dragon, with any kind of wild animals,
live inhabit (about 2 hours sailing). Lunch will be serve on boat.
About 04.30 Pm continue sailing to Kalong island see the flying Foxes,
over night on boat while enjoying the flying foxes In their
environment.
Day 3. Kalong Island Komodo Island Red Beach Bidadari Island
- Labuhan Bajo (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
The perfect morning will wake you-up with a beautiful sunrise offer
you a unforgettable moment, hot coffee / tea make your morning to be a
perfect one, then our boat will sail slowly to reach the Komodo
island. upon arrival, our guide will take you to explorer the island,
see the activities of Komodo in their own habitat accompany by Ranger,
after enjoy the island, you will continue to explorer the Red Beach,
lunch will be served on boat. Enjoy the pink sandy beach at your own
leisure time swimming and snorkelling are recommended ( Snorkelling
gears are provided). not satisfied yet? you will have another swimming
and snorkelling at Bidadari beach, the white sandy beach with ton of
colorful fish around. after enjoy the Komodo National Park it's time
to see Sunset from boat while sailing back to main port of Labuhan
Bajo. Stay and overnight at Labuan Bajo town.
Day 4. Hotel Batu Cermin Cave Labuhan Bajo Airport - Bali -
Hotel
Proceed to departure after breakfast, time to have short sight seeing
before heading to Labuhan Bajo airport we will stop over at Batu
Cermin Cave ( Miror Stone Cave), enjoy surrounding then drop off to
Labuhan Bajo airport. Upon arrival in Bali our driver are ready to
escorting you to your hotel in Bali. Free at your own leisure time.
Day 5: Departure
We will pick you up after breakfast, then
drive you to Bali airport for departure to your next destination. Trip
conclude.
