Mount Kerinci and Seblat Trekking Package

Due to the fact that a large part of Bukit Barisan Mountain range, including it's highest peak the Gunung Kerinci (3,805m), lies in the park, Kerinci Seblat consists of very mountainous terrain. In the mountains you will find hot springs and many rivers with rapids and scenic waterfalls. Especially around the crater-lakes of Gunung Tujuh (2604m) and Gunung Kerinci, the landscape is very beautifull.

East of Gunung Kerinci lies lake Bento, the highest freshwater swamp in Sumatra. Ladeh Panjang is probably the highest peat swamp woodland (altitude 2,000 m).

The relatively flat Kerinci valley cuts the park in two and forms the main entrance to the area. The valley is situated at an altitude of 800 m and has a population of about 300,000 people.

Mount Kerinci Seblat and Kubu Tribe Trip Itinerary

DAY 01 .AIRPORT / PADANG - BUKITTINGGI (Pusako / Royal Denai Hotel)
Upon arrival at Minangkabau Int airport Padang, pick up by our guide and then drive to Bukittinggi by passing Anay Valley, on the way stop at Kiambang snd Pandai Sikat Village to see traditional hand carving and weaving, arrival at Bukittinggi check in to Hotel.

DAY 02. BUKITTINGGI - KERSIK TUO ( Subandi / Paiman Guest House) B
After breakfast drive to Kersik Tuo via Muara labuh, on the way stop at Lake Diatas and Lake Dibawah and passing several MinangKabau Village. Visiting Telun Berasap Waterfall and passing tea plantation at Kayu Aro and arrival at Sei Penuh , the area of Kerinci Seblat National Park check in to simple guest house

DAY 03. CLIMBING UP MOUNT KERINCI. ( TENT / SHELTER ) B.L.D
After breakfast, walk about three hours to Kerinci Seblat enter gate and then hiking to Mount Kerinci, arriving at the afternoon camp out at shelter 3. (About 3.200 M above sea level), dinner will be prepared by our tour Guide.

DAY 04. TOP OF MOUNT KERINCI - KERSIK TUO (SUBANDI / PAIMAN GUEST HOUSE) B,L
after Breakfast, Continue climbing to the summi of mount Kerinci, after taking picture and taking a rest, walking down Mount Kerinci to Kersik Tuo and afternoon arrival at Kersik Tuo check in to guest house.

DAY 05. KERSIK TUO - BANGKO (PERMATA / BUKIT INDAH HTL) B
After breakfast visiting Semurup Hot Spring, Old Historical Mosque with its Giant Drum and Lake Kerinci, then drive to Bangko on the way passing rain tropical forest with its flora and fauna. Stop will be made at several interesting places and arrival at Bangko check in to hotel.

DAY 06. EXPLORE KUBU PRIMITIVE TRIBE. B
After breakfast drive around 2 hours to the village near the jungle then walking to the jungle to explore where the nomadic Kubu people live and witness their daily activity and its traditional and culture, picnic lunch box provide and afternoon return back to hotel.

DAY 07. BANGKO - BUKITTINGGI ( Pusako / Royal Denai Htl) B
After breakfast drive to Bukittinggi via Trans Sumatra highway ant with stop at Muara Bungo, Singkarak Lake and passing several interesting places, arrival at Bukittinggi the charming town of Minangkabau directly check in to hotel.

DAY 08. BUKITTINGGI - PADANG /AIRPORT. B
After breakfast drive to Padang via Anay valley with stop at Anay Waterfall and arrival at Padang transfer to airport for your next destination.
